What's Going On....

The Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, also known as The Humane Society recently obtained a $50,000 grant through the Pepsi Refresh Project/Global Giving Foundation. This grant will be used to spay or neuter pets belonging to low-income residents of Lackawanna County with a combined household income of $30,000.00 or less, as per their 2010 tax return. Limit two animals per household. Please submit the Application, which can be found on our website,
along with a copy of your 2010 tax return to:

Applications submitted without a 2010 tax return or Social Security Statement cannot be processed.

After your application is reviewed, a spay/neuter voucher and list of participating veterinarians will be mailed to your address.
