MODERNIZATION

STIMULUS MONEY IMPROVING DEVELOPMENTS AND PROVIDING JOBS.

President Obama's stimulus package has provided the Authority with the opportunity to renovate and improve the surroundings of many of its developments.

Some of the projects that have been completed include:

Replaced roofs in Fell Township, Dickson City and Blakely Developments
Replaced sidewalks and installed new site lighting in a portion of our Taylor development, on Roosevelt Drive
Installed a new retaining wall and drainage in our Kimberly Circle development
Unit Conversions from zero to one bedrooms in the Blakely High Rise
Sidewalk replacement in Old Forge
New Bathrooms in section of our Taylor development along with re-wiring of smoke alarms
Window replacement in the Throop development
New roofs for Throop, Olyphant (Grant St.) and Olyphant (Walsh Plaza)
New windows in Dickson City (Veterans Drive) and Blakely
Replacement of walks in Jermyn and new siding in Throop and Walsh Plaza
In the planning stage: Extensive rehabilitation to our Jessup Development, located on Lawler Drive.
