The Modernization Department is constantly looking to improve our developments' physical appearance as well as making them completely accessible and safe for our tenants.  We are responsive to our tenants' concerns about safety, as well as the physical condition of our buildings, as expressed in a Residents' Survey distributed to a percentage of our tenants by HUD.

Currently we are:

  • In the process of replacing or renovating the sidewalks and addressing excessive ground water at Archbald, McAndrew Drive. Right now the work is scheduled for the spring or summer of 2008.
  • Adding more parking spaces at the Blakely High Rise.
  • Planning bathroom renovations in Archbald, McAndrew Drive.
  • Looking into replacing roofs in Taylor and Fell Township.
  • Working on bathroom renovations in Kimberly Circle.
  • Planning a major renovation to our Jessup development.
  • Installing new energy saving lights in all our units, and new energy saving refrigerators after having an energy audit conducted by an independent company.

New walks have been completed in Olyphant at Grant Street.
