Many of our sites have ongoing activities, often, started by the residents. We encourage our residents to help make their apartment complexes as "friendly" and energetic as they'd like. We welcome any new ideas to instill a sense of community within our developments.


Cole Village - South Abington Township

Blakely - Railroad Avenue

The residents of Cole Village have exercise classes in their community room on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for an hour.

Bus transportation is available through Colts. the residents have the opportunity to take a bus to downtown Scranton and catch a connecting shuttle to and from the Shoppes at Montage, Pocono Downs/Mohegan Sun, and once a week to Mt. Airy.

They also have transportation from the Lackawanna County Coordinated Transport to and from Weis Markets every Thursday.

The residents in the Blakely High Rise are getting fit with Aerobic classes two times a week. Run by Barbara, who is one of the residents, the music and hearts are pumping every Monday and Thursday night.

Olyphant - Susquehanna and Grant Streets

Old Forge - Dunn and Kohler Avenues

The residents in the downtown Olyphant site on Grant Street, have several bus excursions planned during the month of August. The residents can go to Quinn's Market (August 5th), Walmart (August 14th), Long John Silver's (August 19th), Viewmont Mall (August 28th).

You must be registered with Lackawanna Coordinated transport to participate in these trips.

Kristi has been selected to receive the 2008 HARIE/FOXCO Michael G. Stefan Memorial Scholarship Award. This is a cash award to help with Kristi's school expenses.
