Lackawanna Housing manages nineteen (19) developments throughout the County of Lackawanna. All of our sites have "Site Managers" assigned to them.    We also have a maintenance staff with its members assigned to individual sites as well.  All of our residents are given a number to contact the maintenance staff and leave a message for any work that needs to be done inside their apartment or around their development. Emergency work orders are handled immediately. When you move in you will receive a schedule of the managers' hours and phone numbers to contact them and the maintenance office.

You can apply for housing at our Main Office at 2019 W. Pine St., Dunmore. Your application will take approximately four (4) weeks to process for eligibility.

After that you will be placed on a waiting list and will be called or sent a letter for an apartment when your name reaches the top of the list. For further information please call 570-342-7629 extension 313.

In order to fill out an application you should bring with you birth certificates and social security cards of everyone who will be living in the household and a photo ID of the head of household(ex.driver's license).

Applications will not be considered complete without these documents.
